Dennis was voted by Wealth magazine in the top three Advisers in Australia and has been nominated for many practitioner and business awards as a result of professionalism and experience.

Dr. Maddern has an unswerving commitment to education, having close to twelve years of Univesity study, plus having completed most Financial Advice qualifications available in Australia, he was recognised by the Association of Financial Advisers as ‘Student of the Year.’
In 2015, Dr. Maddern was recognised by the Independent Financial Advice magazine as a finalist in the prestigious Self Managed Superannuation Fund (SMSF) Adviser of the Year.

Qualifications
Dr. Maddern has had a distinguished academic career; his doctoral thesis on Organisational Change at the University of Oklahoma, USA, and post-doctoral work at Stanford University, led to a range of top management positions with leading international companies.
As well as achieving University qualifications, Dr. Maddern has achieved many of the Financial Advice Industry’s most sought after awards:
Dennis Maddern has had a distinguished work career along with his outstanding academic career. He has worked for and with some of the World’s great firms in Senior management positions, including that of General Manager.
He spent 12 years in the USA, much of which was at University, but also working with Eastman Kodak Company in New York. Following a number of years working worldwide for Kodak, Dr. Maddern was headhunted into a Senior management role with Pacific Dunlop, eventually being asked to act as General Manager of a major business unit.
In addition to major private sector roles in upper level management, Dr. Maddern has also assisted the the public sector via consulting and as acting Chief Executive of a major Victorian local government council.
Throughout Dennis’ career there has been a theme of change/turnaround, and ‘getting to the cause,’ and not simply treating a symptom. This is why he is able to provide financial advice expert witness services to legal professionals.
